About
The EATING group was established in 1999 within the Faculty of Technology to focus on research and teaching related to education and educational technology. It serves as a platform for individuals interested in these topics, promoting the exchange of ideas and collaboration.
Key aims of the group include:
• Disseminating information on educational research and technology.
• Supporting research on technology teaching and learning, particularly in higher education.
• Facilitating collaboration with internal and external bodies, such as KMI, IET, and FELS.
The group functions through bi-monthly meetings, featuring informal presentations by members that often lead to the development of journal or conference papers. Research activities are conducted under the Technology and Education Research Group within the Department of Communication and Systems.
